#44 Wildflower Award – Juried Art Show
Note: Entry deadline is March 1, 2012
To the individual who best represents South Carolina’s Wildflowers in the following categories. A person may enter one entry in any or all categories. Only one entry per person per category will be accepted.
Paintings
►Acrylic
►Oil
►Pastels
►Watercolor
Drawings
►Pen & Ink
►Pencil & Colored Pencils
Collage & Mixed Media
Photography
Image size should be no larger than 20” x 30.”
All original art entries should be framed or matted. Framed is preferred for handling protection. Glass or Plexiglas may be used when glass is necessary.
Book of evidence (Application) should be submitted in a format similar to other GCSC State Awards. A folder or binder is preferred. Books of evidence are limited to 6 sheets, back and front (12 pages). Typed narrative is requested in our State Award Information.
Outside cover should have a label giving the name and number of awards, name of club, city, district, number of members in club, name, address and phone number of the person submitting the award. The artist or photographer must be a member of the garden club named.
A narrative should follow which must include the name of the plant(s) on the artwork/photograph, descriptive information, and sources from which this information was obtained. It may also include information on the artist/photographer.

This is a juried show with blue ribbon winners in all categories. Blue ribbon winners will be judged for Best of Show Award. All winners will be displayed at the State Meeting, April 27, 2012. All artwork may be picked up at the state meeting.
If the artwork is available for purchase, a card listing the contact person, etc. may be displayed with the item.
