“Plant it Pink”
“Plant It Pink” is a partnership between NGC and Susan G. Komen for the Cure. This project demonstrates how a love of gardening can be translated into a full spectrum of projects that benefit the health and well-being of individuals, families, communities and our state. Donations are accepted with one hundred per cent going to Susan G. Komen for the cure.
Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan G. Komen she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. In 1982, that promise became Susan G. Komen for the cure, which is not the world’s largest breast cancer organization and the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer. For more information on breast cancer go to www.komen.org.
