Landscape Design Consultants’ Council of South Carolina
The Landscape Design Consultants’ Council of South Carolina (LDCCSC) currently has forty-two members who are National Garden Club (NGC) accredited landscape design consultants and thirteen Emeritus and Associate members. Our objectives include promoting the natural beauty of our state through continued study of landscape design with lectures, workshops, shared experiences and tours of public and private landscapes.
The LDCCSC meets for a program, tour, and business meeting twice yearly. The fall meeting September 22, 2017 was at the Santa Elena History Center, Beaufort. The spring meeting will be a tour of selected gardens in Camden. As a Council, we grow, learn and serve together. We sponsor GCSC award #23 for Landscape Design projects completed and applied for by Garden Clubs in SC.
NGC Landscape Design Schools are a series of four courses offered in most states throughout the country. NGC Landscape Design School Course 3 will be offered January 16-17, 2018 at Charles Towne Landing, Charleston. With the successful completion of all four LDS courses, a Garden Club member earns the status of Active Landscape Design Consultant. The LDS courses do not have to be taken in order, so you may begin with Course 3 this January. After the completion of two courses you may become a provisional member of LDCCSC.
